"Sweet and spicy Thai food" and "light and refreshing Vietnamese cuisine". These two cuisines share core similarities, while significantly stand out on their own, which is what make them the perfect combination to represent the exciting South East Asian cuisine. The ideal Southeast Asian meal is made up of mostly vegetables, rice and broth, with a little protein to add flavor and a satiating quality. Here in our restaurant, herbs are transported by air from Thailand and Vietnam, and all broths and seasonings are made fresh in the kitchen from the best hand-picked ingredients.
So what makes a meal, Southeast Asian?
It is all in the culture. Perhaps it is the familiar flavours of sweet, sour and spice. But to make it truly sizzle – add a generous sprinkle of culture - from ingredients to atmosphere. Most Southeast Asian meals are served "family style," rather than as a series of courses. All dishes are set on the table and guests are encouraged to take a little bit of everything. A meal we would reccommend starts with bite-sized appetizers, sharable entrees, followed by light-weight but flavorful Pho made with our handmade noodles and ends with refreshing fruity desserts.
